Cosey Fanni Tutti is a groundbreaking artist. Starting in the 1970’s she has been expanding the language of performance art with her personal, passionate actions. She is founding member of Throbbing Gristle, COUM, Chris and Cosey and CarterTutti. She has exhibited in some of the most prestigious art institutions in the world and amassed a legendary catalogue of recorded music. Her first solo show, “Prostitution”, has gone from a highly publicized scandal to being recognized as one of the most powerful works of self exploration produced in the last 40 years. Her sound experiments have given birth the a whole genre of music. In April of 2017 she added author to her oeuvre with the publication of her autobiography, ART SEX MUSIC.
Lizzi Bougatsos has also made a name for herself as a fearless artist. Her work with Gang Gang Dance, I.U.D. and Angel Blood have pushed forward the New York tradition of melding fine art and pop music into its own powerful medium. Her solo gallery exhibitions and performances have won her a reputation as an uncompromising creative force with a unique gift for making conceptional work that is emotionally powerful.
